Doesn't it piss you off when people drive around that little loopy drop-off thing in the wrong direction?!! never noticed that actually Finally, the Big Question: Are first sopranos really that dumb, or is it an act? (Tsk, tsk... me perpetuating a negative stereotype. I should be hauled out back and shot.) hey now... but actually, now that I'm a part-time second, I can appreciate how smart all the other parts are Whoa--just a random note: "War is Over" was def. playing on the radio while I was typing this...

THE RECORD
NWGC Choir Camp 2004

1) Julianne fondled Megan's "boob"
2) Molly would kill someone by "whacking them".
3) Corey's "pschye" says she's a killer.
4) Molly likes to eat  "placenta".
5) Gevelle thinks Corey lookes like a "penis".
6) "Loser" and "poser" may be spelled the same, but you don't say them the same.
7) Heather thinks Gevelle and Julianne are the "whores of the group",
8) Megan and Corey "peed in the woods".
9) Megan = crack addict
10)"If spooning is what I though it was, then forking would really hurt." -Heather
11) "Why are you stroking me with your french fry?" -Megan
12) Geri:(asking about the song we're listening to) "Is this the olsen twins featuring Bob Marley?"
13) Julianne poured water "in" her crotch."
14) Heather is horny.
    Proof:
    1) Heather tried to lick Megan's neck.
    2) Heather "caressed" Megan's "ass".
    3) "Just pick a position and go with it."
15) Lani's a douche nozzle.
16) "Rachel has done so many things that normal 18 year olds haven't."
17) "As lesbians like to do cool things..."(sara [talking about choirs and prison, two subjects that you rarely hear about in the same sentence])  "Hell yes." -Rachel
18) [If I could see through the clothes of any one person at all times] "I should probably say Frank, but I might have to go back to Denzel." -Katie
19) Katie's way of witnessing was making out.  Whoa.
20) "My father's guns were never so clean as in my high school years" [Beth Ann about dating]

There it is in all it's glory.  Feel free to defend yourself in comments.  I was victim to a lot of groping this week...just for the record.

ACK! The concert is tomorrow... I can't believe this year is already ending.
And I got into ensemble, go me :) I'm happy, cause next year will be my last and all, and finally I'm at the top of the chain!
Anybody have any details about that "day of fun outside of choir practices"?

Subject:I'm new to this community, and probably too old to contribute much, but here's an introduction...
Time:03:04 pm
Name: Katie Raschko
Age: 21 (any other NWGC graduates here?)
School: Lawrence University - Holy Names Academy for High School, though...
Seattle or suburb?: Seattle, all the way.
Siblings (and their ages!)? Maggie, 19 (just graduated last year)
Were/are any of them in choir? Absolutely, we're a choir family!
What were you for Halloween? I was Minnie Mouse

How many years have you been...
in Amore (this year counts): Back when it was "Touring Choir" - 2 years, then Amore for 4
in Vivace: "Advanced Concert Choir" - 2 years
in Amabile: "Intermediate Concert Choir" - 2 years
in Fresca: "Prepatory (Prep) Choir" - 2 years
in choir club: 0

What part do you sing now and how long have you sung that part? First Soprano!
What about before that? (And before that?) Always been a soprano, aside from one concert in Intermediate Concert Choir when I was an alto.

Do you have a Fresca buddy? That sounds fun, but no.

So, how many choir directors have you had, anyway? Um, 2 in NWGC, plus a host of others in various choirs
Who's your favorite? Don't worry, we won't tell anyone. Rebecca for NWGC, and either David Erb or Philip Swan in college.
What's your favorite choir song, choosing from the ones in our current repertoire? I'm not sure what the current repertoire is, but my favorite will probably always be "Dirait-On"
What's your favorite choir song EVER? See above
What's your favorite non-choir song EVER? Wow....tough choice....Probably Puff the Magic Dragon?
Do you have a theme song? What is it? Nope, I don't think I do...I should look into getting one, though :)

How often do you eat at Pagliacci's? Oh, I miss Pagliacci's....When I'm home, as frequently as I can get someone else to pay for it! :-P
Great Harvest? mmmm...good stuff.

Do you drive yourself to choir? Used to.
Do you carpool, you selfish environment killer? But of course! With Megan Peabody, Ashley McBride, and Teresa Cartwright. And then with my sister and Kelsey.
Doesn't it piss you off when people drive around that little loopy drop-off thing in the wrong direction? Not really - no one ever seemed to get it right anyway.

Finally, the Big Question:
Are first sopranos really that dumb, or is it an act? We're not dumb! Personally, I believe I'm brilliant. I was just cursed with a high voice. :)

Also, for those of you who attended the NWGC camp/summer retreat, I was a counselor there for, oh, five years? And attended as a camper before that. Now I work at Camp River Ranch during the summer.

So what did you guys think about the concert? My parents really liked it (except for the encore).

And what's the deal with this Cd? Why didn't I hear about this?

Subject:a call to all the choirgirls...
Time:09:52 pm
So this morning I was reading the letters to the editor in the paper, and many many were on the topic of same-sex marriage and a few were just downright pissing me off. So I was thinking to myself, man, it seems like most of those awesome choir girls are with me on this, and what a crazy coincidence, theres this really awesome livejournal thing going around that says "marriage is love." So heres the plan for anyone who feels like wearing their thoughts on a shirt: make a tshirt with the little rainbow bar thing and "marriage is love" on the front and on the back, you can elaborate on what your feelings are about this whole situation. Then, on monday, march 8, wear to school, to any after-school activities and then to choir (da da daaa) and let the world know that your definition of love and marriage is not rescticted to gender or other peoples theocratical (is that a word) beliefs. power to the people, baby...
